Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper at Shady Lawn Nursing Home, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities :

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and dining areas.
• Ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and infection control.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist in the setup and cleaning of dining areas.
• Maintain proper stock of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or janitorial role is preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare settings is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Compassionate, patient, and able to work well with residents and staff.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
