Job Title: IT Technician
Status: Non- exempt; Full- time
Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay Range: $22.20-$29.10
Description:
Join our team as an IT Technician, where your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional user support and customer service. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot and assist with computer systems, videoconferencing, printers, phones, and more. You’ll install and maintain approved hardware and software, perform basic diagnostics, and help ensure the seamless operation of our hospital's IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to IT inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, software, printers, and other devices.
- Assist with networking projects, including cabling, hardware repairs, and system updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all IT work and equipment inventory.
- Support video conferencing and technology needs for meetings and events.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of hospital IT systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; associate degree in computer science preferred.
- Prior experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and a quick learner who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and respond to after-hours or weekend IT needs.
