As the Graphic and Motion Designer at Kixie, you will be at the forefront of our visual storytelling efforts, crafting both static and dynamic designs for our marketing initiatives and client engagements. This is a full-time, fully remote, role (has to be able to work Pacific Standard time hours). Working directly alongside marketing management, content creators, and leadership, you'll play a crucial role in advancing Kixie's goals through visually impactful and innovative designs that leave lasting impressions on our audience and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Graphic Design: Develop on-brand, high-quality visuals for digital platforms, including social media graphics, infographics, banners, and presentation assets.
  • Animation: Create animations for videos and looping website assets, including but not limited to animated representations of Kixie's app UI, character animations, and animated infographics.
  • Motion Design: Design and animate motion graphics for marketing videos, promotional content, intros/outros, and transitions that captivate viewers and drive engagement.
  • Logo and Brand Identity Design: Support the evolution of Kixie's brand identity by designing logos and visual elements that reflect our company's unique personality and objectives.
  • Social Media and Video Content: Collaborate with the social media and video production teams to create custom graphics and animations optimized for platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Merchandise and Product Design: Conceptualize and create designs for merchandise, product packaging, and promotional materials, enhancing brand presence across various platforms.
  • Brand Storytelling through Animation: Craft animations that effectively convey our brand narratives, enhancing the storytelling aspect of videos and digital content.
  • Cross-Platform Adaptation: Adapt and format static and motion graphics for various digital platforms, ensuring optimal quality, size, and performance.
  • Trendspotting and Motion Design Innovation: Stay informed about the latest motion graphics trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Kixie's visuals remain fresh, engaging, and aligned with current aesthetics.
  • Creative Brainstorming and Ideation: Actively participate in ideation sessions to develop new concepts for both static and motion-based content, contributing to Kixie's visual identity and innovation.
  • Project Management: Oversee the design and animation processes from concept through execution, coordinating with team members to meet project timelines and deliver exceptional quality.
  • Website and Case Study Assets: Design and maintain visuals for Kixie’s website, including case study graphics, landing pages, and banners that reflect our creative prowess and client success.
  • Print Media: Develop designs for print materials such as pitch decks, presentations, and promotional items that support Kixie’s marketing and business development efforts.
