Reports To: Department Manager
Direct Reports: None
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Hourly base rate plus the opportunity for an additional $1.00/hour for working your full schedule
Position Overview: Using handheld cutters, cut garment pieces from layers of fabrics using patterns
Essential Job Functions:
Spread, mark, and cut fabric pieces correctly
Operate cutting equipment safely
Cut garment pieces from layers of fabric using patterns
Non-Essential Job Functions:
Other duties as assigned by Department Manager
Training: Necessary training will be provided on the job
Qualifications:
Education & Certifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience: No experience necessary, training will be provided
Key Competencies: Dependability, Initiative, Achievement Orientation, Analytical Thinking, Self Confidence, Team Player
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds; Standing and walking for extended periods of time
Working Conditions: Plant environment with constant background noise
