RD/RD2B Responsibilities:

• Nutritional Assessment & Counseling : Conduct comprehensive assessments tailored to age, health, and development, providing counseling on the role of nutrition in mental health.
• Customized Meal Planning : Develop balanced, nutrient-dense meal plans that consider patients' physical and mental health needs, growth stages, and cultural preferences.
• Collaborative Care : Work alongside therapists, psychiatrists, and medical staff to align nutrition interventions with overall treatment plans.
• Education Programs : Lead group or individual sessions to educate on the connection between nutrition and mental health, including emotional eating, food cravings, and healthier food choices.
• Eating Disorder Support : Provide targeted interventions for eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating, with a focus on family involvement.
• Nutritional Monitoring & Follow-up : Track patients' dietary intake and progress, making adjustments to meal plans as needed and documenting improvements in mental health outcomes.

• Registered Dietitian or Licensed Dietitian
• Eligible to sit for RD Exam (RD2B)
