Job Description

Our client in Fort Worth is seeking a highly motivated and skilled 3rd Shift Narrow Web Flexo Press Operator to join their growing production team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and quality control of our Mark Andy inline flexographic printing presses, specializing in narrow label production.

This position is a Direct Hire with no temp time at all!

Compensation: $25/hr (+ a differential percentage)

Shift Schedule:

We have two distinct 3rd shift schedules available, each consisting of three 12-hour overnight shifts:

  • Shift A: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
  • Shift D: Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Responsibilities:

  • Operate assigned Mark Andy inline flexographic printing press, ensuring efficient and high-quality label production.
  • Perform machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure product meets specifications and identify and resolve any printing errors.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the press to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Actively participate in training programs to expand knowledge and skills across all five of our narrow web flexo presses.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and master all aspects of press operation, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting on various Mark Andy machines.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating flexographic printing presses is essential.
  • Must have experience specifically with narrow web flexo printing (under 17 inches web width).
  • But be able to differentiate between experience with flexopress in different formats
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret job specifications and quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A strong willingness and learner mindset with a genuine interest in learning the operation of all five of our narrow web flexo presses.
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
