ETL Developer

Key Responsibilities

1. Participating in the Design and implementation of advanced data architectures and pipelines , ensuring data solutions meet enterprise performance, quality, and scalability requirements.

1. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and product stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into robust, maintainable data engineering solutions.

1. Develop and enforce engineering best practices , including version control, CI/CD for data products, data quality checks, documentation standards, and reusable code modules.

1. Participates in code reviews, and assistance with problem-solving to strengthen team capabilities.

1. Drive continuous improvement through evaluation of new tools, technologies, and frameworks , influencing platform evolution and engineering innovation in support of enterprise data strategy.

Skills and Experience

• 2+ Years of experience in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines leveraging ETL tools.
• An Understanding of Data Modeling techniques.
• Strong programming skills, especially SQL and SQL procedures
• Experience in integrating data from multiple sources into one while ensuring high data quality
• Strong Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data related issues and optimizing performance of database tables and processes.

• Strong SQL development skills.
• General ETL and data warehousing knowledge.

• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage).
• Familiarity with data modeling (Kimball/Inmon concepts, facts/dimensions).
• Bonus: Wherescape RED, Data Vault, Erwin Data Modeler, Azure Data Factory, Python, Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Wherescape Red
• Concepts of a Databricks platform
• Utilizing Confluence for Documentation
• Agile development Processes
• GitHub for version control
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse
