Boutique law firms seeks entry-level Law Office Assistant / Paralegal to support the Landlord-Tenant defense division; consisting of residential and commercial tenant Defense in the 5 boroughs.

Role Description

This is an in-person full-time entry-level Law Office Assistant/Paralegal at the Law Office of Kian Daniel Khatibi, PLLC and affiliate law practices managed by the law firm, located in lower Manhattan, NY. The role involves providing administrative assistance, handling phone calls & emails with proper business etiquette, operating office equipment, and utilizing clerical skills to support the legal team including managing the legal calendar and ensuring timely filing of documents.

Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills, including use of Google Workspace & GDrive (or quickly learn them).
• Professional Phone & Email Etiquette and Communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to create and maintain multiple cloud based spreadsheets detailing new client case info & case status.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Eager to learn & achieve.
• If you are good at administrative office work and fast on the computer we are willing to train for this law office role and will walk you thru from start to finish.

* Must be authorized to work in the United States .

Schedule:

• Full-time.
• In-person at our downtown office.
