One of our clients is looking to hire an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Sparks, MD for a contract role.
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm with Mandatory Overtime required.
Pay rate is $21.82/hour
Job Overview
Performs a wide variety of assigned tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as electromechanical modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and fitting on assembly units. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Conducts quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Disassembles, modifies, reworks, reassembles, and tests experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with instrument assembly operations.
Qualifications
High school degree or GED required with 2 and 1/2years of manufacturing experience or an AA technical degree with technical experience. Experience in a regulated environment is required.
