Job Description

StaffBright is partnering with a long-standing client located in Grand Rapids, MI, to hire an Electrical Project Manager for their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity with a highly reputable and innovative electrical installation solutions provider that specializes in commercial, education, manufacturing, and industrial construction projects .

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience managing electrical projects and eight or more years of experience in the electrical industry overall. They should possess a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) , and be comfortable overseeing project budgets, timelines, scopes, and field electricians.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage all phases of electrical construction projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain quality and safety standards
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including budgets, change orders, schedules, and materials tracking
  • Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and other applicable safety and regulatory standards
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates.

What We'll Need From You:

  • At least 2 years of experience managing electrical construction projects
  • 8+ years of experience in the electrical industry or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and construction standards
  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, timelines, scopes, and electricians
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
