Job Description

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a DevOps Engineer for an opportunity with a client located in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment of software
• Provision and manage infrastructure using code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to ensure consistency and scalability
• Automate repetitive tasks across the software lifecycle, from provisioning to monitoring and deployment, to increase efficiency
• Use monitoring tools to track system health, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and optimize performance
• Act as a liaison between development and operations teams to foster collaboration and smooth communication, breaking down silos
• Diagnose and resolve issues in the production environment to maintain system stability and reliability
• Ensure the timely and smooth release of new software versions and updates to production

Requirements:

• Administration of GitHub and Azure Devops (ADO Boards)
• Within GitHub Actions, building pipelines, building automation through GitActions, generating personal access tokens, tenants, constructing workflows in Git Actions
• Utilizing ADO as a PM tool, creating stories, epics, linking tasks from one task to another
• Leader who's been in enterprise environment with CI/CD development or administration work
• Terraform, Ansible or other Infrastructure as a Code tools
• Long-term Contract
• Hybrid 3X/week in Chicago or Tempe, AZ
• Must be US Citizen
• Looking to start asap
