Job Description

Ragle, Inc. is hiring a Data Developer to transform how we manage, analyze, and automate data. This role combines Analytics (Power BI) , Data Science (deep analysis & ML) , and Data Engineering (pipelines & SQL) to deliver actionable insights and automation across the business.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on efficiency, automation, and innovation —a creative problem solver who can design scalable data solutions, build intuitive dashboards, and leverage LLMs to work smarter and faster.

What You’ll Do:

1) Analytics & BI

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models (DAX, Power Query) for project performance, finance, and operations.
  • Define and standardize business KPIs ; enable self-service analytics for leadership and operations teams.

2) Data Engineering & Integration

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric , Azure Data Factory , Python , and SQL to integrate APIs, databases, and file-based sources into centralized Azure SQL .
  • Implement data validation , error handling , and scheduling for reliable data flow.

3) Data Science & Advanced Analytics

  • Perform deep-dive analysis in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Build predictive models or forecasting where they add business value.

4) Automation & Productivity

  • Automate repetitive processes and reporting using Python, Power Automate, and pipelines.
  • Use LLMs (Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate coding, documentation, and analysis—apply prompt engineering best practices for accuracy and efficiency.

5) Database Management

  • Design and maintain Azure SQL databases; optimize queries and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT and project teams to ensure data consistency and governance .

6) Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Partner with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for further automation and process optimization .

What You Bring:

Core Technical Skills

  • Power BI : DAX, Power Query, data modeling, refresh optimization.
  • SQL : Intermediate+ querying and tuning; experience with Azure SQL .
  • Python : Data wrangling, automation, and scripting.

Additional Skills

  • APIs : Building and maintaining integrations.
  • Pipelines : Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Data Factory.
  • Prompt Engineering : Skilled at crafting effective prompts for LLM tools to improve productivity.
  • Azure : Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, DevOps.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years in a data-focused role (Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar).
  • Construction or project controls experience is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize across maintenance, troubleshooting, and new projects .
  • Excellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Creative and innovative—comfortable exploring new tools and approaches.
