Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Temp to Perm Corporate Customer Service Coordinator (Membership Services Coordinator) in NYC (Midtown). The position is currently a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office and 2 days remote). The ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years of experience providing support to a Membership/Customer Service department, specifically with customer service, administration, and data maintenance. Standard business hours (35 hours weekly). This is a temp to perm opportunity starting ASAP. $23-27 per hour for temp period. (Perm 55K - 58K Base)

Responsibilities:

• Provide world class customer service to company’s broad membership base.
• Handle all e-mail and phone communications with members and non-members in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
• Resolve requests, answer questions and promote company service offerings.
• Support an array of member needs, including administration (processing new memberships, renewals and live/virtual event registrations)
• Data maintenance (updating profiles, transferring memberships, creating new accounts/profiles, merging duplicate records and creating renewal invoices).
• Assist with processing student membership applications and maintaining university partnerships for the University Partner Program

Requirements:

• Bachelors’ Degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Customer Focus – building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
• Experience taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
• Interpersonal Savvy – relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people
• Communicates Effectively – developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

Local candidates only. Must live in a commutable range to NYC and comfortable with hybrid schedule. Standard business hours (35 hours weekly). This is a temp to perm opportunity starting ASAP. $23-27 per hour for temp period. (Perm 55K - 58K Base)
