Job Description

Maynard Nexsen is seeking a highly motivated mid-level Commercial and Technology Contracts Associate. Preference is for our office location in Charleston, SC.

Maynard Nexsen is a full-service law firm with nearly 600 attorneys in 31 locations nationwide

Ideal Candidate: 2-4 years of transactional experience in corporate or commercial contracts and/or commercial real estate leasing and licensed to practice in South Carolina.

Experience and Background:

• Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions
• Commercial Contracts (such supply, distribution, service, consignment, warehousing, and/or vendor agreements)
• Commercial Real Estate Leasing Transactions (industrial, warehouse, office, and/or retail)
• General Corporate Experience (such as drafting formation documents, operating agreements, state filings, and resolutions)
• Organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Comfortable interacting with clients
• Demonstrates a commitment to exceptional work product and client service
• Strong academic background
• Business development potential
