Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a­­­­ ­­­­­­­Contract Analyst to support a large health system based out of Baltimore, MD. This person will be responsible for supporting the negotiation team by providing critical financial insights and managing contract-related documentation. This collaborative role combines financial analysis with paralegal-like contract management duties, feeding data to the negotiation team and senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be versatile and be comfortable working across both financial and legal domains to drive rapid expansion of the contract portfolio. A main responsibility will be compiling and analyzing historical, current, and projected financial data to support negotiation strategies for high-value vendor contracts, while building financial portfolios and opposition research in collaboration with external partners (e.g., Gartner, physician partners) and internal business owners. The ideal candidate will populate systems with financial and vendor-related intelligence to streamline negotiation preparation, draft and manage contract documents—such as statements of work, quotes, orders, amendments, NDAs, and potentially MSAs—and provide insights on budgeting, fiscal years, amortization, and other financial topics during vendor negotiations. Additionally, they will partner with the Sr. Negotiator to ensure data-driven decision-making and seamless execution of contract terms, while supporting legal contract lifecycle management as a secondary responsibility, adapting to the team’s workload as needed.

Requirement's:

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience performing financial analysis
  • In depth understanding with contract management
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and presenting actionable insights for negotiation purposes.
  • Experience drafting and managing contracts (e.g., statements of work, quotes, orders, amendments, NDAs, and potentially MSAs).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a support role while remaining flexible to take on paralegal-like tasks as needed.
  • Ability to navigate complex vendor relationships and know when to push hard or take a softer approach.
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, high-stakes environment with a focus on deliverables.

Plus:

  • IT and healthcare experience is preferred, particularly with technology integrations, data security, or risk evaluation. ­­

Location :

  • Must live in MD, DC, VA, PA, DE and be willing to travel to Columbia, MD as needed

Pay :

  • 38-50/hr based on experience
  • Converts at 95-105k annually
