Position Overview

The CLS Irrigation Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the landscape irrigation systems and landscape lighting systems for clients while providing excellent customer service. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation and landscape lighting systems.
• Provide clients with excellent customer service and recommendations on irrigation and landscape lighting solutions.
• Identify, locate, and repair pipes, fittings, and wiring.
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and inventory to ensure readiness and safety.
• Program, repair, and configure timers, and perform start-up and winterization of irrigation systems.
• Maintain job records and complete work orders accurately.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and work procedures.
• Report timely and accurately to supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to operate equipment as a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified driver for specific vehicles or equipment.
• Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
• Valid Driver’s License. Class B CDL valuable, but not required.
• Experience with computers or tablets.

Additional Information

Compensation rate for this position is $25 to $31 per hour based on experience
