Job Description

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Assistant to support the successful execution of our clinical trials. This role will involve a variety of tasks crucial to the smooth operation of our studies, including participant recruitment, patient management, scheduling appointments, and assisting with the conduct of trial procedures, including sampling and direct patient interaction. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in clinical trials and be comfortable working flexible hours, including occasional weekdays and weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ cumulative years of clinical research experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences, biological sciences, or a related field is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship, legal permanent residency, existing work authorization for this role.
  • Willingness to work on-site at our San Francisco headquarters with weekend working hours.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial processes, GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with participant recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Proficiency in scheduling appointments and managing patient communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with study participants.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.

Experience in the following is highly desirable

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
  • Experience with collecting and processing biological samples is highly desirable.

Compensation and Details

Location: San Francisco, CA

Job Type: Part-Time, Hourly

Compensation: $30 - $35 per hour
