Compensation : $100,000 - $140,000 per year, plus a $10,000 signing bonus

Overview
Our client, a reputable healthcare organization, seeks an experienced Clinical Informatics Manager to lead and oversee informatics initiatives that enhance the effective use of electronic health records (EHR). This key role will work closely with the Executive Director and lead a team dedicated to advancing clinical IT systems that optimize care delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership : Lead a team of informaticists, providing direction in EHR management, clinical software enhancements, training, and customer service.
- Strategic Development : Collaborate with executive leadership to drive and manage short- and long-term IT and clinical informatics strategies.
- Clinical Liaison : Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and the IT department, ensuring high coordination with clinical practice needs.
- Vendor Collaboration : Establish strong partnerships with clinical vendors to create a model clinical suite of products.
- Stakeholder Relations : Foster a reputation of trust and excellence with clinicians, executives, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. RN license in Colorado or multi-state compact license is beneficial.
- Experience : Minimum 5 years in a clinical setting within a hospital, with expertise in healthcare informatics, project management software, and clinical applications.
- Skills :
- Leadership in coaching, delegation, and team building.
- Project management with timeline tracking, crisis management, and team development.
- Change management, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Interpersonal skills to drive goal setting, group processes, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge in budgeting, finance, and performance review.
