This position will develop, refine and facilitate a wide range of behavioral health community trainings to build community resiliency in Sussex County. Responsibilities include developing and designing presentations, as well as preparing materials, coordinating logistics, recruiting participants, and delivering the trainings in a variety of settings across Sussex County.
Trainings will include Mental Health First Aid (awareness and certification levels), anti-stigma education, community naloxone, and other evidence-based behavioral health topics. Target audiences include the community/ general public, families/caregivers, community-based organizations, primary care, substance use disorder and mental health providers and staff, students or residents in medical training programs, and others as relevant to each training topic.
Trainings will be conducted both in person within Sussex County and virtually, Existing credentialing in one or more of the trainings listed is preferred but not required. This position will also support other grant-related and team responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience developing, designing, and delivering training presentations
Strong communication and facilitation skills across diverse populations/communities
Willingness and ability to conduct trainings/outreach in all Sussex community settings
