Overview

Do you have a passion for Data and Processing? Gallagher is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Rolling Meadows to join a top-tier team. This role offers a chance to apply your accounts receivable expertise and contribute significantly to our success!

How you'll make an impact

What will you be doing?

  • Maintain the purchase ledger function ensuring the flawless payment of all invoices, receivables, and expense claims.
  • Reconcile the ledger and manage invoice and expense claim queries with strict attention to detail.
  • Handle Accounts Receivable activities including requesting payments, assigning them to appropriate accounts, and acquiring necessary documentation for processing.
  • Receive payments, credit the appropriate accounts, and prepare all necessary documentation for processing.
  • Research and resolve invoicing problems with suppliers and vendors, advancing more complex issues to the manager when necessary.

  • Provide research and documentation to regional and corporate accounting to reconcile inter-branch transfers and general ledger issues.
  • Perform collections tasks as assigned, such as contacting customers and pursuing outstanding balances.
  • Conduct detailed research, reconciliation, and analysis required to resolve all nonpayment or account disputes.
  • Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls, regulatory standards, policies, and practices.
About You

Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
