This isn’t just another warehouse driver opening. From day one, you’ll be hired directly with the company—no waiting months to be converted. For the right person, this role could start as short-term support but has the potential to become permanent, long-term employment.

Position –  Box Truck Driver

Job Location –  Eau Claire, WI

Starting Date –  Immediate

Employment Term –  Direct Hire – short-term (2-12 weeks) with possibility of permanent

Employment Type –  Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday with possible half days required on Fridays)

Starting Pay – $20-24 per hour

Required Education –  None

Required Experience –  Previous truck driving experience (straight truck, box truck, or comparable). Must know how to strap product safely for transport.

This role includes driving a manual transmission straight/box truck (no CDL required), strapping and securing product for short hauls, and assisting with light shipping tasks such as boxing parts, taping boxes, and basic order picking.

Responsibilities

- Operate a manual transmission straight/box truck (no CDL required).

- Safely strap and secure product for short hauls. 

- Transport equipment and materials between the plant and nearby facilities.

- Assist with boxing, taping, and preparing parts for shipment.

- Perform basic order picking to support shipping operations.

- Work closely with the shipping coordinator to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Maintain accurate documentation related to shipping and deliveries.

- Follow safety procedures for all driving and warehouse activities.

 

Qualifications 

- Previous truck driving experience (straight truck, box truck, or comparable).

- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.

- Must know how to strap and secure product safely for transport. 

- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR for the past three years.

- No OWI/DUI convictions. 

- Ability to lift, move, and handle shipping materials as required. 

- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
