Key Responsibilities:

• Verify billed items against orders received, reconciling discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Enter, update, and retrieve financial data within an automated accounting system .
• Post financial transactions to appropriate accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile transactions and financial data to maintain precise records.
• Review and correct online financial transactions as needed.
• Organize and maintain records, reports, and filing systems.
• Generate and analyze the Open Order Status Report , following up on outstanding items.
• Adjust salesperson commissions based on freight charges.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting , with knowledge of industry terminology and practices.
• Proficiency in automated accounting systems, spreadsheets, and database software .
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy.
• Understanding of record-keeping and financial reconciliation .
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently .
• Strong communication skills to explain processes and train others when needed .
