Job Title: Associate Attorney

Salary: $55,000 - $80,000 annually + Bonus

We are a boutique plaintiffs' litigation firm in Philadelphia dedicated to providing a strong focus on work-life balance and quality of life for our team members. As an associate, you will have the opportunity to handle your own caseload from intake through resolution. This includes speaking with clients, handling discovery, depositions, motion drafting, settlement negotiations, arbitrations, and assisting in trials. You’ll gain experience in all aspects of litigation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a personal caseload from start to finish.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare legal briefs and participate in oral arguments.
• Handle discovery, including attending depositions and answering discovery.
• Manage and coordinate with a personal case manager.
• Participate in settlement negotiations, arbitrations, and trials.

Qualifications

• Bar admission in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey (both preferred). Candidates barred in one state must be willing to become barred in the other as soon as possible.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional research and writing abilities.
• Proficient oral advocacy skills.
• 0-3 years of experience in litigation, legal research, negotiations, motion drafting, and oral argument preferred.
• Participation in trial team during law school is a plus.
