Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and dedicated Assembly Technicians to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting, grinding, fabricating, and installing various pipes, metals, valves, motors, and pumps. As an Assembly Technician, you will work with a wide range of hand and power tools, and operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes as part of your daily tasks. You will be a key part of the team, ensuring products are assembled efficiently and safely.

 

Job Description

  • Adhere to all safety requirements in line with company and industry standards.
  • Use the proper tools to fabricate or repair products, including cartridge/skid and oil reservoir systems.
  • Read and interpret technical documents, including drawings (DWG), P&ID, schematics, blueprints, and other written or verbal instructions.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to assemble products according to specifications.
  • Plan and layout work to meet production and scheduling needs.
  • Prepare production-related documents such as standard operating procedures, manufacturing batch records, inventory reports, and productivity reports.
  • Provide shift supervisors with regular production, progress, and changeover reports.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Identify defective items and take appropriate action per established procedures.
  • Select cleaning materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise during production.

 

Skills Required

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Physical fitness to lift and operate heavy machinery.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Ability to monitor and adjust production processes or equipment to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, record keeping, inventory management, and form filing.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed.

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.

 

Additional Requirements

  • An Associate Degree is preferred.
  • Experience in p ipe bending or plumbing is a plus.
  • Shift: Mon-Fri, 6am to 2:30pm PST

 

Pay Rate

  • $22 per hour
