Dynamic, rapidly growing company in North Houston is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team!
The responsibilities will include the following:
- Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements
- Recording of journal entries required to reflect monthly activity
- Completion of month-end close process to ensure accuracy of accounting records
- Ensure the timely completion and accuracy of monthly account reconciliations
- Ensure the timely completion and accuracy of all bank reconciliations
- Balance inter-company balances
- Preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements
- Review and analysis of corporate spend vs budget
- Assist with preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Analytical review of the operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective
- Support the month-end business process with value added information & analysis
- Ensure controls are implemented, documented and maintained adequately and effectively
- Document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles and ensure timely and accurate reporting
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years experience as well as knowledge of Percentage of Completion. CPA is highly preferred but will consider without.
