About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee the billing and revenue accounting functions of the Swipeclock business unit within IRIS Software Group. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate customer billing, efficient collections, and timely revenue recognition processes, with a particular focus on leveraging Salesforce and other systems to drive operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee the customer billing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all invoices.
• Manage the accounts receivable function, including collections follow-ups and customer payment application.
• Own and maintain Salesforce billing-related workflows and data integrity between Salesforce and NetSuite.
• Assist with monthly revenue recognition and associated reconciliations in accordance with ASC 606.
• Support the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve cross-functional processes.
• Develop and maintain internal controls over billing and receivables processes.
• Provide reporting and analysis related to customer billing, collections, and revenue trends.
• Assist with system improvements, automation, and documentation of processes.
• Support external audit requests related to billing and revenue.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members as needed.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, billing, or revenue operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of billing and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite preferred.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience in a SaaS or recurring revenue environment is a plus.
